Avoriaz is a French mountain resort in the heart of the Portes du Soleil. It is located in the territory of the commune of Morzine. With a seasonal snowfall average of nearly 8m, Avoriaz is comfortably the snowiest ski resort in France. At resort level, nowhere else even comes close. You will ski through stunning countryside, with open panoramic views of the Dents du Midi and Dents Blanches.

Avoriaz is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area with access to 400km of downhill skiing, with 285 individual pistes, served by 196 ski lifts. The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is no issue. With skiing above 2000 meters, snow cover is ever reliable.

Whether you like to take it easy or push yourself to the limits, you will find a wide choice of routes on varied terrain, skiing down into broad, open valleys on pistes running through the trees.
