Paradiski ski area, in the French alps, is the second largest linked ski area in the world. Three renowned resorts link together to offer 425km of exciting, multi-level pistes. The ski area also boasts 238 trails, 4 snowparks, 2 half pipes and 2 fully equipped glaciers. The three resorts are linked by The Vanoise Express cable car. It departs from Peisey Vallandry and can transport up to 200 people at a time to La Plagne in just four minutes.
Paradiski ski area is within two hours of three major airports. The cosmopolitan cities of Lyon, Geneva and Turin are precisely 200km away. The smaller airports of Grenoble and Chambery are also great options. So ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Paradiski ski area are perfectly feasible.
Skiing is possible up to an altitude of 3,250m, ensuring good snow conditions throughout the season. The ski area attracts snow athletes of all levels of ability. It also offers fantastic convenient ski-in ski-out opportunities from many of the properties. Features like the Olympic Bobsleigh track make Paradiski ski area a favorite among families.

Les Arcs ski resort
There are four villages in the Les Arcs ski resort, known as Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000. The numbers representing their elevation in meters. With a reputation for being one of the original French mega-resorts, Les Arcs has it’s own 200km of ski pistes and an incredible vertical drop. Although any of the slopes are for cruising, there are also extensive off-piste options for experts.
La Plagne ski resort
An ultra-modern establishment, the ski area offers 225km of marked runs. Additionally, there are off-piste trails available from La Plagne to Les Arcs. The vertical distance at La Plagne is also incredible. La Plagne has a top lift on a snowsure glacier at 3,250m and pistes that go all the way down to 1,250m. While the ski area is great for intermediates and families, there are guided off piste experiences available for adventure seekers.
The excellent facilities at Peisey-Vallandry is the perfect recipe for a successful ski holiday. Practically all of the chalets and holiday homes are within 550m of the ski runs. 3 chairlifts ferry visitors up into the ski area at 2,280m, where they will find a total of 29 ski runs, encompassing all difficulty levels.
