Skiing and snowboarding may be over in the Northern Hemisphere, but the season is just getting started south of the equator. A series of large storms have covered Chile and Argentina with snow over the past week, as resorts prepare for the upcoming season. Portillo in Chile is claiming 9 feet of snow in the past few days, while Penitentes and Las Lenas in Argentina are reporting snowfalls of over 3 feet.
