Sitting at the majestic gate to the Dolomites, Val di Fiemme ski area is the embodiment of great skiing. That’s 100km of downhill slopes and 50 last-generation lift installations. As well as artificial snow, snow parks and 2 sledding runs. It is also possible to ski by night.

There are four Airports within two hours drive of Val di Fiemme ski area. The nearest airport is at Bolzano. By train, you can choose between main connections to the station in Ora and transfers from the closest stations to the towns of Val di Fiemme. Bus service is also available from the closest train stations.

The FIS Nordic world championships are repeatedly held on the trails in Val di Fiemme. The highlights include 2 World Cup championship cross-country ski centers. It is the venue for the Nordic Ski World Cup Championships. Moreover, its a snow sure cross-country ski paradise up to 2,150m above sea level.

Val di Fiemme ski area comprises the resorts of Alpe Cermis,  Alpe di Pampeago, Bellamonte – Alpe Lusia, and Cavalese. As well as Latemar, Passo Lavazè – Oclini and the famous Passo Rolle.

Alpe Cermis ski resort

Alpe Cermis ski resort in Cavalese, in the heart of the Lagorai chain, is one of the most important ski resorts in Val di Fiemme. Moreover, the sight from the Alpe Cermis, which includes the long Olimpia track (7,5 km), is one of the most enchanting in the Dolomites. Here, the best exposure of runs guarantees the best “quality of the snow”!

Alpe di Pampeago ski resort

Alpe di Pampeago has already represented the finishing stage of five editions of Giro d’Italia. Ideal destination for bikers, it is the only dolomitic pass without access to traffic. In Pampeago, another place is worth a visit: it’s RespirArt, the highest art park of the world.

Bellamonte – Alpe Lusia ski resort

Bellamonte – Alpe Lusia is famous as “the mount of hay” of Val di Fiemme. Nowadays it is even more famous thanks to the breathtaking sunsets that inflame the marvelous mountains Pale di San Martino. One of the places to visit in Bellamonte is the incredible collection of tools and objects that farmers used to use in the past – the ancient hut hosting Granpa Gustavo’s Museum.

Cavalese ski resort

Cavalese is one of the 11 small resorts that make up the Val di Fiemme ski area. It offers 70km of local slopes, with bus links to a combined total of 150km of runs. The Sella Ronda circuit is also pretty nearby. You’ll have to take a cable car up to the most easy runs, but there are some breathtaking views along the way. There are plenty of other winter pursuits for non-skiers as well.

Latemar ski resort

The Ski Center Latemar naturalistic paradise includes 50 km of pistes connecting Pampeago, Predazzo and Obereggen. It is the place for active ski enthusiasts. The grooming of the ski runs is superb. There are also snowparks, a night park, a half pipe, rustic ski huts, speedy and entertaining events and plenty of Après-Ski.
