Adelboden-Lenk ski resort in the Bernese Oberland is one of the largest and most attractive snow sports regions in Switzerland. Over 210 km (130 miles) of international-standard pistes with around 60 % of the main areas guaranteed snow. Adelboden-Lenk ski resort was first promoted by Sir Henry Lunn as the destination for the world's first ski package holiday in 1903. Today it is still ranked as one of the top five best-loved ski resorts in Switzerland. Centrally located there are four Airports within two hours drive. So ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Adelboden-Lenk ski resort are a popular choice. 

Adelboden-Lenk ski resort covers a nice variety of terrain across its linked Silleren-Hahnenmoos-Metsch sectors. The majority of the slopes throughout the area are natural red runs and cruising blues, entertaining for intermediates and manageable by confident novices. There's also a fair amount of ungroomed inter-piste spaces to appeal to snowboarders and powder seekers.

Most of the skiing in Adelboden-Lenk ski resort is between 1,500m and 2,200m best for intermediates and beginners. While none of the ski areas are very high, there's good piste skiing on the north and south-facing slopes. Some excellent off-piste opportunities including ski touring at higher altitude. The terrain breakdown is approximately 50% beginner trails, 40% intermediate and 10% for advanced skiers and snowboarders.
