Beaver Creek ski resort is located near Avon, 10 miles west of Vail ski resort in Eagle County Colorado. Beaver Creek Mountain is blessed with approximately 350 inches (that’s nearly 30 feet!) of snow each year. 

With the base elevation at 8,100ft and summit elevation at 11,440 ft, featuring a vertical drop of ft, this is the place you’d love to go ski or snowboard . Beaver Creek ski resort offers 24 lifts, two bowls (the Rose Bowl and Larkspur Bowl), a beginner's gondola, a state-of-the-art combination gondola/chairlift, 11 high-speed quads and three terrain parks.

Celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2010, Beaver Creek ski resort opened on Dec. 15, 1980, with six lifts and a 45 minute ride time to the top, a “tennis bubble” base lodge and 27 instructors. Today, Beaver Creek is a fully developed destination resort complete with three mountain experiences and an army of top pros at its Ski and Snowboard School. From heads of state to heads of households, it is a place that people visit to leave the world behind, offering privacy, an intimate mountain setting and is recognized for providing arguably the best guest service in the world with the promise of “Not exactly roughing it”.

Beaver Creek ski resort consists of approximately 1,832 skiable acres, 680 of which can be supplemented with snowmaking. The mountain is meticulously groomed, prepped and serviced year-round giving snow sports lovers the best possible conditions.

Beaver Creek ski resort has something for everyone; novice, intermediate and advanced skiers alike. It is home to dozens of beginner and intermediate trails while World Cup racers utilize the challenging courses of Beaver Creek, which is also home to the annual Birds of Prey Men's World Cup. And, while Beaver Creek isn’t known for its extreme terrain, the Stone Creek Chutes area features a handful of rocks to jump off, and tight tree runs to navigate—sure to please the expert skier looking for an actual challenge.
