At Brides Les Bains ski resort, beginners are well served by many gentle trails and relaxing runs through the pine trees, while intermediate skiers will rejoice in the vast amount of long red runs, ideal for improving your skiing. Expert skiers will relish the off-piste challenges, powder snow, glacier skiing and steep descents through the trees. There is also 33km (21 mi) of cross-country ski trails at the ski resort. For snowboarders, there are 2 terrain parks. Snowmaking covers a small proportion of the pistes at the ski resort.

Brides Les Bains ski resort is better suited to beginner skiers and snowboarders, but there is some terrain for both expert and intermediates. The terrain breakdown is approximately 52% beginner trails, 36% intermediate and 12% for advanced skiers and snowboarders.

One of the great things about Brides Les Bains ski resort is its location. It's already part of the way down on the main valley road, so access to other ski areas is much quicker, and you can usually reach them through roadside gondola stations down in the valley also, rather than having to drive up to the resorts. Although well placed to access some of the best ski areas in the French Alps, one of the considerations is that none of them is on the doorstep.
