Jackson Hole ski resort is a destination ski resort and the largest and most popular ski area in Wyoming. It is best accessed via direct flights into Jackson Hole airport. The most popular flights are from Salt Lake City and Denver.

Until the mid-80s, few people had heard of what is now the cult ski area of Jackson Hole. It was recently ranked the number one ski area in the USA four times in a row by Forbes Magazine. Jackson Hole ski resort is really focused on the more advanced and intermediate skiers and snowboarder. The terrain breakdown is approximately 10% beginner trails, 40% intermediate and 50% for advanced skiers and snowboarders.

With more than 2,500 acres of terrain spread over two adjacent mountains, Jackson Hole ski resort boasts runs that exceed 7km and offers 116km of groomed trails. The only way to the summit of 3,185m Rendezvous Mountain is on their 100 person aerial tram. In addition, you can ride two gondolas, seven quad chairs, a double chair and Poma lift. Jackson Hole Mountain ski resort also features a half-pipe, terrain park and Kids Ranch, which provides supervised day care.

The base in Teton Village is the gateway to the Park and offers fun family activities, world-class restaurants, and hotels. Riding the aerial tram is a must-do for any Grand Teton National Park visitor and is the ultimate way to truly experience the grandeur of the mountains.

In the summer, Jackson Hole Mountain ski resort transforms into a mountain bikers, hikers, and sightseers paradise, with the Aerial Tram remaining in service to ferry outdoor enthusiasts to the top of Rendezvous Mountain. This is a great starting point for overnight backpacking trips into the Grand Teton National Park. With more than seven miles of service roads, mountain bikers have the opportunity to pedal mixed terrain both up and downhill. Visitors will also be treated to an array of colorful wildflowers and wildlife.
