Las Lenas ski resort is located in Mendoza, Argentina. It is one of the largest Andean ski resorts in Argentina, located in the western part of Mendoza Province, together with Cerro Catedral in San Carlos de Bariloche, Rio Negro province. The village sits at an elevation of 2,240m, the mountain summit at 3,430m providing skiers and snowboarders with a decent vertical drop of 1,200m.

Las Lenas ski resort opened in 1983 and is named for a desert plant. Typical Argentine culture and milieu combined with snowboarding and skiing makes it one of the most visited ski resorts in South America.

Las Lenas ski resort offers 52km of varied terrain trails for snowboarders and skiers. With a total 13 ski lifts, 7 chairlifts and 6 T-Bars, the ski resort attracts the best of the best in Argentina and internationally. These visitors come to Las Lenas to train, ski and ride during the Northern Hemisphere summer months. It is steep, very steep. The large acres of extreme lift-accessible terrain, mostly accessed by the famous Marte chairlift, makes it a playground for these international daredevils, pro skiers/snowboarders and powder hounds.

Many parts of the out-of-bounds trails are not recommended for anyone but experts. However, there are also a lot of intermediate and beginner runs that are very wide that help for all abilities and a great place to sharpen your skills. Las Lenas ski resort is a self-contained Andean ski resort. The village hosts many different restaurants, bars, shops, hotels, and even a casino. Buses run throughout the village, making it easy to get around no matter where you're staying. And, you can walk everywhere. The nightlife is pretty good and starts late allowing an afternoon siesta. The ski resort boasts the only night skiing facility in Argentina.
