Megève ski resort, located near Geneva, Switzerland, is renowned as being one of the prettiest and the most upmarket ski resorts in France. Being the capital of the mountain way of life, it belongs to the prestigious "Best of the Alps" group.

There are three main ski areas; Mont D'arbois, Rochebrune and Le Jaillet. They offer a combined 445km of pistes and are served by 116 lifts. Megève ski resort's trails are largely cut through thickly forested slopes. The exception being the wide snowy runs of Mont d'Arbois, which reach up above the tree line to the resort's highest trails at 2,485m. Most of the beginner areas are down close to the village and make the resort a wonderful place for first-timers when snow conditions are good. The area around Mont d'Arbois holds the most attractions for intermediate skiers. Experts have opportunities to run in the proximity of the world's toughest skiing mecca - Mont Blanc. 

As well as the full range of facilities associated with a village that is bustling with visitors all year, there are many other facilities such as the large sports complex, outdoor pool, horse drawn taxis, many quality restaurants and some excellent designer shops in an atmospheric pedestrian area. The village of Megève ski resort retains a very French feel.

Megève ski resort is a year round resort and in summers, the hiking is truly spectacular. Beautiful views of the Mont Blanc massif and rocky paths to the top of famous peaks – the area really has everything. The ski area and mountain biking are a perfect combination with hundreds of trails linking the resort with other towns on the valley floor. Special events like Megève Jazz Festival, Time Megève Sportif, and Mont Blanc Race also attract many.
