Méribel ski resort is situated in the Savoie region of the French Alps and is about a 1½hr drive from the beautiful town of Annecy and about 3hrs from Geneva’s international airport (Switzerland). The village is located at 1,450m and the lifts lead you up to 2,952m providing skiers and boarders with a huge 1,502m vertical drop.

Easier choices include the 3.6km (2.2mi) long red run down the Combe du Vallon or the Pic Noir descent through the trees from Col de la Loze. Beginners have easy runs up by the Altiport and Rond Point des Pistes, as well as a special beginners area located at Méribel-Mottaret.
