Thyon ski resort forms the eastern gateway to one of the largest continuous skiing areas in the world: the "4 Vallees". The 4 Vallees Ski Area is made up of 8 Swizz ski resorts offering over 400km of interconnected skiing. You can access over 200 trails via 90 lifts all on the one lift ticket.

The ski area dominates 4,000m high peaks of the world-famous Matterhorn and the majestic Dent Blanche. There are three levels to Thyon ski resort, Thyon 1600, Thyron 1800 and Thyon 2000. Each level offers their own charm and direct access to the mountain.

Thyon ski resort offers approximately 212 km of trails with 26% (76 km) of the total terrain ideal for beginners, 49% (127 km) for intermediate skiers and 25% (9 km) for the more advanced and expert level skiers and snowboarders. This is all accessible with 51 ski lifts.

Thyon ski resort has several trails for beginners and 1 slow slope. The Petit Vallon and the Piccolo will help you to learn ski or snowboard smoothly. Perfect for families! The trail of La Muraz allows you to organize ski or snowboard races. You can also use the trail for training. The Central park is one of the most recognized snowparks of the Alps. From professional to beginner, everyone will find modules suited to their abilities and desires.

Events taking place at Thyon ski resort add spice to its grandeur. Alpine flea market features a large number of stalls, entertainment for children and a grand ball each Saturday evening. Montagn’Art features international woodcarving symposium where visitors have a chance to meet ten of the best European artists. For rough riders, Grand Raid Cristalp is considered to be the longest and toughest mountain bike race in the world.
