Zillertal Arena ski resort is the largest ski resort in the Zillertal valley in Austria. The village is located at 1,300m and the peak elevation takes you up to 2,500m providing skiers and boarders with an impressive 1,200m vertical drop.

Zillertal Arena ski resort offers more than 143km of terrain, piste and off-piste, it is suitable for all levels of skiing, snowboarders and free-riders. The runs are very well groomed and range from easy to difficult. The ski area is famous for its toboggan run, the Arena Coaster. Away from the pistes, guests can pay a visit to the Naturpark Zillertaler Alpen, which impresses with over 80 glaciers. Or the landmark Berliner Hütte - a reminder of the beginning ‘Alpinism’.

Zillertal Arena ski resort boasts incredible trails served by 51 lifts. Skiers and snowboarders will find a variety of activities both for beginners and experts. The terrain breakdown is approximately 30% beginner trails, 62% intermediate and 8% for advanced skiers and snowboarders.

The ski area provides skiers and riders of all ability levels a choice of wide-open groomed cruisers, narrow classic runs, moguls, steeps, and trees. All serviced by an expansive state-of-the-art lift network. In addition to other highlights, a spectacular bag jump and a snake run with many steep curves and jumps are waiting at the Action-Park Kreuzwiese. The Gerlos snow park offers an unparalleled freestyle paradise for free-skiers and snowboarders – including a “chill area”.

After a stunning but cold day in the skiing area of Zillertal Arena ski resort, there is nothing better than warm yourself up with dancing in one of the Après ski bars in Zell am Ziller. Here you can enjoy nice drinks with friends and relaxing sounds or dance to the latest chart hit. The various bars are located at the valley station of the Rosenalmbahn and the Karspitzbahn.
